This industry comes with lots of comparisons, struggles outside the creative process (such as the business side), and imposter syndrome —my goal?
To introduce you to a mindset shift, to educate you on the business side of things as well as the photography side, AND to offer you a place of
community & connection
.
So whether you’re new & confused OR experienced & struggling… I feel you because goodness knows I’ve been both at one point or another!💯
I will always make sure my students feel comfortable asking me anything without feeling as though it’s a stupid question —eliminating the chance for questions to be left unanswered during our time together.
In college I thought I wanted to be an elementary school educator.
True story:
I had my first child very young, dropped out, and quickly realized that was definitely not for me.
Now, I coach
aspiring photographers, helping them level up their photography skills, shift their mindset, and build a business they love.
Turned out in the end… I did fulfill my desire to be an educator.
Just not to little kiddos. 🥴
(and if you know me… you know this was definitely the right decision. I’m NOT a huge morning person)

P.S. It's just about impossible to get a 13 year old boy to actually smile for a photo & as a photographer they never want me to take actual professional photos of them. 🙄

I started my entrepreneurial journey as a self-taught portrait & wedding photographer. 📸 Over the years, I took my business full-time while serving tables as a waitress, parenting two small children, and going through a divorce.
(best decision ever tbh)
I am not going to lie, I’ve persevered through many hard times but at the end of the day have built a business that supports my daily life as a mother, defines my own definition of success and creates my own rich life. 🙌
