What to expect when you book a session with me

Whether the session is a senior session, a one year session, family, or a sweet couple I try and follow the same workflow. I begin with the posey-posey shot. The one you may want to gift to grandma in a frame. The one where everyone is looked and smiling. You gotta have a least one portrait with everyone at least looking!

Then we get to more fun stuff. The stuff that really makes my heart happy! Next we go into what us photographers call "Lifestyle Photography". This is where I am still guiding you and the kiddos in what to do but it's focused on you all interacting and not necessarily looking at the camera. i.e.the walking shot, look and laugh at one another.

To wrap up the session I love to finish with what we call "Documentary Photography". This is the time when I tell the kiddos they're done and they can play...but little do they know...my camera is still capturing them laughing and having fun! This is the time when I can get them candid and with genuine smiles, my favorite!

I aim for my portrait photography to be thought of as storytelling. Rich in color, love, and laughter...I want these galleries to fully reflect the amazing people that are in them.

Hi! I'm Devon.

Founder & CEO of Devon Adrianne Photography & Education.

After a decade of building my photography business, I am now a coach and mentor for new and aspiring photographers, helping them level up their photography skills, shift their mindset, and build a business they love.

I have helped students turn their photography hobby into a full-time business within one short year and helped long-time photographers hone in on business skills and mindset to have their best year yet, professionally and personally.

Way back when, I start my entrepreneurial journey as a self-taught portrait and wedding photographer. I took my business full-time while serving tables as a waitress, parenting two small children, and going through a divorce. I have persevered through hard times and built a business that supports my life as a mother, defines my own definition of success and have created my own rich life. 

My goal today, and everyday moving forward, is to help as many aspiring photographers create a life they dream of with their passion for photography.
